1. Information We Collect
When you use The Don Lacrosse, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information when placing an order. We also collect the design preferences you enter (jersey number, position, appearance selections, etc.) to generate your custom design. We automatically collect basic usage data such as your IP address, which is used solely for rate limiting (limiting free design generations per day).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to generate your custom AI lacrosse design, process your order and payment, fulfill and ship your order via Printful, and communicate with you about your order. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.
3. Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Your payment data is handled entirely by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy and PCI DSS compliance standards. You can review Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
4. Order Fulfillment
Orders are fulfilled by Printful. Your name and shipping address are shared with Printful solely for the purpose of printing and shipping your order. You can review Printful's privacy policy at printful.com/policies/privacy.
5. AI Image Generation
Your design preferences are sent to OpenAI's API to generate your custom mascot image. Design inputs (position, appearance, colors, etc.) are processed by OpenAI in accordance with their usage policies. We do not share your personal contact or payment information with OpenAI.
6. Data Retention
Generated designs are stored in our database and associated with your order for fulfillment and customer service purposes. IP-based rate limit records are automatically cleared daily. You may contact us to request deletion of your design or order data.
7. Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser local storage (not cookies) to remember your recent designs on your device. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings.
8. Children's Privacy
Our service is intended for use by parents and guardians on behalf of youth lacrosse players. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
